Dit Kubi - Back Stance

Stage 1 -'charyot sogi' (attention stance) - Standing upright; feet at approximately 45o
angle; fists clenched; arms down by the sides.
Stage 2 - 'narani sogi' (toes and heels touching) - From previous stance move both feet
together so that toes and heels are touching; body straight; arms by the body sides.
Stage 3 - Keep right foot fixed on the floor pointing forward, pivot left foot toes to the right
approx. 90o. Keep body upright and arms as in stage 2.
Stage 4 - 'ditkubi' (back stance) - Bend both knees a little, move right foot approximately
1 and 1/2 feet forward making sure it points straight forward (don't move left foot),
at the same time do both arms double block by extending horizontally to the left
(right facing up and left down) and thrusting forward sharply - yell.
About 90% body weight should be on the back (left) foot.
